if i ran into financial trouble and had to cut my internet service, i'd get the fuck over it and read a book or hang out w/ friends or something. you won't see me telling a sob story to anyone when i know damn well there are ppl out there who can barely afford food. it's silly and insensitive.

but you'd still be making enough money to live comfortably, you just won't have all the LUXURIES that you WANT. it's not the same as taking a $10,000 pay cut from a $50,000 salary. if you live somewhere like NYC and have dependents, you could end up qualifying food stamps. needing food stamps after losing $10,000 is not, and will never be the same thing having to give up a house in another country that you barely visit anyway.
