PS2 - GT4 Driving Mission 34 - PAL - Completed

This was around attempt No. 100 with three months of practice. Two months with a bought SLR and one month practice on the mission with the count down. There is a slight difference in handling between the cars - I prefer the Mission 34 unit. Gearbox is on auto with an occasional shift hold, although I normally drive manual. No intentional short cuts, rail riding or penalties. A little messy in the final minute but owned in the end. Watch to the finnish to see my wheel and PC upload if that appeals;) FYI Driving style would never be termed clean as I'm no king of consistency. That said this is an example of how enough practice will see even Joe average through this mission.

Actually some would argue that it's easier with the controller since the change in steering direction happens immediately when you press the button.. Besides you can pick up a Logitech wheel for $150 which IMO is quite affordable.

wish i did have a wheel... have a stupid controller which of course doesn't allow variable steering, throttle or brake .. any idea how much more difficult it is with a controller than with a wheel, or r they similar .. ??

i had a lap time 9:07 without a wheel...but nice race....i know that the nürburgring nordschlife is verry hard not even sutil could drive on it( he crashed lol )

A pretty clean, a little shaky there at the end but still, very good. A little tip; when you go into a corner and come out, never get back on the throttle until you no you're not going to go off. That may have been your problem those last few sectors.

In the beginning, before the first line, after the second line is a curve in the form of "s", try straight and before the pit straight at the end. Keep trying and be patient, is the most difficult driving mission of the Gran Turismo series.
