Drinking water does come from Lake Arlington and several other reservoirs. I know this for a fact. I also know that produced water spilled into that lake back in June 2010. Consumers beware.

Unlike many of the lakes in the area (including Lake Arlington) Joe Pool Lake water is not used for drinking water. Thank God. However, it is used for a lot of recreational purposes including swimming, fishing, boating. This is very disturbing.
