Opening to Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto in Em, Played by Danny (ME) And not very well I might add...
I was inspired to play this from the movie Hilary & Jackie about the life of the famous cellist Jacqueline du Pré. She played this piece so beautifully and it was coined as her "swan song."

  • Try to connect the notes, there are spaces between some of them....

  • Great !!! Can you put a instructional video 4 this perhaps a " how to play ". You can play better than me i´m a cello player but i´m a beginner... well... Can you?....Please...!!!

  • slower at beninning x

  • slow down!!! =]

  • watch your shifts u are putting a little bit of a slide in to each of them try to hide the slides

  • i totally agree. The Elgar is a peice that even the most mature of players labor over. It take an understanding of you skill and emotional maturity to even attempt it.

Just because you can play something close to the notes is no accomplishment. This concerto is much more than notes
