I wish they had them here in the US, it is very hard to find a baguette that is not chewy here, although they have come a long way with many other breads.

Knowing the french I bet that machine has not gone through CE ! they love Brussels and the EU- but ignore the legal stuff liek the plague. bring that machine to UK- and within a day it would have HSE and god knows which little public sector worker trying to find a reason to shut it down (yep uk is 99.9% public sector little shit job worths!

I'd rather come off as paranoid than get salmonella or cholera (or any other nasty disease) from a phallic wheat product.
Even a high-school soda dispenser was full of gum. and it was restocked weekly.

@Tounushi When's the last time you saw someone shit in a mailbox? If someone wanted to deliberately pinch off a shit into some accessible hole on a public street, there are *thousands* of places they can do so, including water fountains and children's wading pools. Worrying about people peeing into the slot of a bread-dispensing machine borders on pathological paranoia.
