Animals as Leaders - The Price of Everything and the Value of Nothing (guitar cover)

I got this guitar 2 days ago, and it's my first time ever playing an 8, let alone 7. This is a bit sloppy but accurate note wise, and it's quite easy to play for Animals as Leaders. I basically just wanted to test my new instrument out :)

hey man did you just go straight from 6 string to 8? ive been playing 6 for a while and will probs get a 7 in a few months, and if you have gone from a 6 to an 8 and managed to adapt so well then this gives me hope that i can adapt to a 7 string!

@VegasPoker Technically, I never did own a 7 string, so yeah. But I did play on a fair share of 7s before I even purchased an 8 string. I'm sure there are plenty of guitarists who would say it's totally un-pro to go from 6 to 8, but if you have the discipline and motivation, go for it, i say! Fuck the nay-sayers!! I imagine adapting from 6 to a 7 is similar from 6 to 8 (just 1 less string). The trick for me starting was... learn how to visualize the 6 strings as second nature.

@greg1553 hey man thanks cheers for the fast reply. i would have already bought a 7 by now probably but the majority of songs i know on 7 strings are very technical! i think if i wait a while to buy one then hopefully by then i am a bit more creative and can write my own stuff as well as having a better chance to keep up with some of the songs. :)

i was a bit worried about changing from a 6 to a 7 but i am motivated like you say so....might as well go for it haha
