"(I Love You) For Sentimental Reasons," written in 1945 by William Best and Deek Watson was recorded by Ella Fitzgerald and The Delta Rhythm Boys in 1946 on the Decca label, reaching #8 on the charts in 1947. The song can be found on the Prism CD, Ella Fitzgerald, First Lady of Song.
