Broken Wings

This is for a few things.

Firstly,
One who fears death does not enjoy life. Srsly.
For Clover27's contest. I had a blast making this, coming up with the idea, deciding how to make the tone/mood/story flow, what music to make it to, instrumental? lyrics? ect... I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process, and the perfectionist in me is saying "but there are tiny miniscule mistakes" and the other part is saying "that no one will notice unless you sit here and point them out." So no nit-picking!

Two, I am making this for StarCrossed and Streamline Studio auditions, soooo woot!! I'm really excited, and good luck to everyone!

Next, the story and plot!

Shia is a demon sent to earth to complete her training. She meets an angel, Misha, and forgets about what she is supposed to be doing. She makes friends and finds happiness not in being a demon, but in being kind. "If and angel's job is to help those who have just begun their journey, then it is a demon's job must be to accept those who have stopped." Nyaa, the cat, is disappointed and informs her that she is being sent away. She "vanishes" and ends up in the care of demons Aerith and Vincent. They try to teach her how to be a demon again, but she just can't do it. Vincent meets Aerith one night, and they both agree that if Shia doesn't learn fast, she will end up vanishing for good. Vincent takes Shia out to try one more time, and she tells him that she would rather vanish. Vincent realizes that while he was teaching her, he fell in love with her. Thinking of Misha, and thinking that maybe she would have made a better angel, she watches as Vincent tries once more to show her how to access demonic powers, and then she joins him in the sky to vanish for good.

As Nyaa had said in the manga of Pita Ten, she ended up being the best demon ever. "All this time I thought she was hopeless, she turned out to be quite the demon, though, didn't she? Taking advantage of the weakest parts of the human heart and wrecking havoc with it and fate itself. Brilliant." She left Misha, her friends, Vincent, and everyone else who ever fell in love with her smile and kindness.
