My Talking Parrot

Fagel, our family's Yellow Naped Amazon Parrot acts crazy, sings, blows kisses, talks, and dances, and we do happen to let her out of the cage all the time, this particular video just shows her in it.

(Just a disclaimer, for those of you who may not know. The metal of the cage is not exposed, it is the black paint underneath, the cage was painted white with a safe non-toxic or harmful to the bird paint.)

Are yellow napes good for kids?

my kid is like 12-13.

i want to get him a gerbil, leopard lizard or a nape.

yeah it was beatboxing...haha they are heavy responsibility, and we've had that bird since right after I was born..it's your decision but read up on yellow napes because they require more attention than a lizard or gerbil might.

my mom bought her out of the egg right when I was born...it was from a breeder, and that was in 1983..so...i'm not positive, but I know today, they are expensive as hell

Just wanted to add that the cage is not metal, it's black paint repainted white! I swear it is not harmful, but Fagel likes to chew...and there are toys on top of the cage, when she comes out, she plays with them :)

my friend had a parrot who use to do just like my mom, he'd say, "kisses!" then make the kissing sound! lol!
