I setup and flew from a disused WW2 airfield about 200km south of Darwin. It was a hot 36'C day and very thermic. See rolf.id.au for more details.

  • Do you need a licence for these in australia?

  • how much is it for a kit like that? it looks like the prop of a microlite at the back? i was saving up for a good microlite, but this might be cheaper to getting a flexwing maybe.

im on my way from thailand to darwin, and might do the same thing, let me know if u can how much i can get something like that for.

    Thanks

    Jed
