SE&CR 01 No 65 Last Day in Traffic - Bluebell Railway.

This video depicts South Eastern and Chatham Railway 01 number 65 during her last day in traffic on the Bluebell Railway on the wet afternoon of the 7th July before withdrawal for her 10 yearly overhaul.
The first clip is uploaded individually but this video has all the afternoons footage in one video now I have new editing software.

Well Stepney is due out by late May (don't hold me to it) and 65 is said to be due after 263 is done sometime later this year so should not be too long.

nice video. 65's ten yearly wont commence for years though, she'll probably sit and rust. The Bluebell have too many engines!

Thanks for the encouraging words, although I wouldn't be so confident about your comment on her overhaul.

Apparently the latest Bluebell News says that they will start work on her overhaul next year, which is wonderful news.

It may make a difference that she is privately owned unlike poor old 80064, 92240, 30074 and probably 75027 in the future.

I spoke to the owner when it was at the K&ESR in May and he said he wasn't so sure. Perhaps he's arranged something with the Bluebell since then?

Dont forget poor old 80100! I doubt the Bbell will ever overhaul her. Sell it to me, my gang could overhaul it!!! Poor yankee tank, I like those but then again I like industrial steam.
