I say I watch a lot of crime shows, but what that actually means is that there's a LOT of episodes of "Law and Order" out there.

And is that Horatio person the redhead? I knew there was something weird about that dude. Just seeing a picture of him makes him look so awkward. :P

I'm thinking of buying the whole collection of CSI Vegas but it will cost over 200 pounds so a lot of money. Might be better to download them especially in this time of the recession.

But i have to disagree! Grave Danger isnt the best episode in my mind. It was good, but it was too much action for me and less brain. It was real good but these here i find much better: 1x07, 1x09, 2x02, 2x08, 2x10, 2x18, 2x19, 3x02, 3x06, 3x13, 3x15, 3x22, 4x01/02, 4x06, 4x12, 4x18, 5x20, 5x22, 6x04, 6x05, 6x07/08 ,6x14 ,6x17, 6x18, 6x21, 7x04, 7x09, 7x13, 7x18, 7x20, 7x24, 8x01, 8x07, 8x08, 8x09, 8x11, 8x12, 8x14, 8x17 may favorite Season is Season 3, 6 and the second half of 8.

i love Vegas its my all time Nr. 1 i ve watched them from the beginng on tv and since 2003 also on dvd. I have Seasons 1-8 of the Show and loving almost every Charakter and Episode. Miami i hate and ny i have watched only 6-7 episodes on tv and buy the dvds when they are a bit cheaper here in Germany.

I have seen a few episodes of C.S.I and it's good although like you i'd rather buy the setz than watch it n telly.

Do you like Law And Order @ all? because thatz quite good.

I agree lol. For example when they do there little tests etc, and they get the result in like 5 mins, when you know it would be 3-4 weeks plus in reality. And yes the job position thing is weird . But i think to be honest its more the who-do-it aspect i like, watching it unravel. Saying that, the other unrealistic thing is the way they always find the smallest piece of evidence at the last second that wraps the case up perfectly.

I agree with what you said completely, boomstick. I tend to think that those sorts of shows are basically designed for people who work all day, come home, and want to watch something non-challenging and stand-alone that will wrap everything up nicely with a bow at the end so they can go to bed and not have to think about what they just watched. Of course that's probably why shows like that get such high ratings. In fact, they seem to be designed for that very reason.

I also do not enjoy many of the procedural series. I just find them highly unrealistic in a lot of ways. The most obvious being the fact that they have technology that doesn't exist, and they preform jobs that their position doesn't perform. I also highly dislike the lack of humanity within those series. They treat everything so black-and-white. However, I'm more inclined to get into the head's of the "criminal" then those who solve the case. How involved can you get when you solve a case in 45m
