Amazing! I have at least one picture of the tiger in the pool in one of my NG special issues. Until now, I had no idea what went in to taking that photo.

When I was born, a relative started a sub to NG, and I have kept it up since then, through thick and thin. Although many of us can do much more, this is all it takes to support National Geographic.

it was cute when the tiger was half asleep in the water and then hears the people and then perks up and looks curious about the noise

i was impressed to see that the tiger tested the pool and then stepped into it with it's back legs rather than taking a plunge head first (which i was expecting to see)~

I totally agree. That scene where the tiger is asleep and hears humans coming was amazing to see them in that light. That had a profound effect on how I view tigers.
