In Africa you are either Black White or Coloured and in Europe you are ~Half Caste~ and in Amrica you are just Black and toa small population you are Biracial its SICK every where you should be ~Mixed Race~ nothing else in most parts of Africa Biracial people are considerd as White in Zambia Whites and Coloured are considerd as the same.

you are absolutely right my friend...in southern africa where im from biracial people are considere 'colored' and distinct from eother white or black...but the black people more often than not lump biracials and whites in the same category..you are so right there.

Great video but according to jay love 47, I agreed with him but he could not judge on biracial people. Like I said to other posts, if people prefer to be mixed, white, or black, it is on them.

Hello I enjoyed your video and you made great points. I am a Liberian born in America and I discovered that Liberians are accepting to bi-racial Liberians or anyone in general. Also I haven't really noticed bi-racial Liberians putting down the Liberians with one race. I have family members who are bi-racial and( in Liberia bi-racial would be called mullato) and we all get along. I and some family members have features like Infused 08 eventhough we are West African.

What this guy is saying is a mute point. If U are African in American, Caribbean, South America, or Central America; you are mixed, plan and simple. Example, I just did my DNA results: 56% African, 40% European, and 4% Native American. Infused08 is just another addition to this. Race mixing is nothing new. I do question why he never visits his Black family. Remember the Philippines was 1st inhabited by the Negritos who come from Africa. Perhaps there is some left over racism toward them.

What you are saying hits the nail on the head. However, I always frame it as a divide between light skin blacks and dark skin blacks. It has origins in the oppression we all have experienced at the hands of not only white/Europeans but other groups such as: Arabs, Persian, etc. All these group came into Africa and enslaved and exploited Africans and they always saw Africans as inferior to themselves.

Question about semantics: What is the opposite of "pass"? I thought it was 'fail'. So does that mean that if one is "passing' then one has escaped failure? We need to think about these terms such "passing for white". Why the f#@k would someone want to pass for white? There is nothing to be proud of being or "passing" (pretending) to be white...or pink. Be your happy dark, medium or light brown self and stop frontin is what I say.

@sourheartroasie From my understanding Jennifer Beals identifies as biracial. Now that their is biracial roles out there she is taking them. She is letting it be known what she is.
