@yurasleepless That's the problem. Most people can't afford the plane tickets just to go to Japan to get the awesome music there. I wish I could go to a store here to pick up albums by some of the awesome Japanese bands.

@Somebbb you're dead right, man. I think it's because Japan is less grounded in the rock legends like Led Zeppelin or the Stones, they're free to take the music wherever they want to. All of the Japanese bands I listen to sound much more original than bands popular in America. Listen to Killer Tune by Straightener, then go listen to any Nickelback song. There's no contest. Whatsoever.
