You can really notice the vtec kicking in at 7000RPM
how is that bike on the track, anyway? I always thought since it's meant for touring as well as sporty riding it might not be the best.

Thanks JG! The VFR is almost but not quite a pig on the track but it is still very capable in the right hands! I guess it depends on the track too(larger tracks seem to be helpful). Touring tires will get you in alot of trouble on the track but some PPs are all you need!
