I really don't get all this Celestia is a Tyrant stuff. she seem to me to be patient, forgiving and humorous, things tyrants generally aren’t. If this is some kind of joke I don't find funny. Or do people really think she's some kind of monster?

@Hawbitten well... I lot of people says that she is a tyrant, only because she is a leader, I've never seen she do any harm to anypony... I've never thought she was evil, I think people like to make fun of her, and it's mean IMO, so yeah, I think it's just a joke, and a mean one.

@hamishmilne1 I have heard all the augments in favour of Celestia being a tyrant, they don't impress me. I have a good counter argument for everything you have said, but that not what I am interested in.

All I want is to know how seriously do fans take this stuff. I know no-one really believes that Pinkie Pie is a serial killer, it's all good fun.

but some bronies seem to take this Celestia tyrant stuff far too seriously for my liking.

@Hawbitten It's the whole 'sent to the moon' thing, for 1000 years. I know they're both immortal, but still, that's a long time. She makes no attempt to hold elections, she is the immortal, eternal and absolute leader of Equestria, and seems to want to keep this position. She is also quite manipulative, e.g. sending Twilight only two tickets to the Gala, knowing full well she had 5 friends, not helping the mane 6 fight Nightmare Moon in any way, allowing her to wreak havoc for some time.

Celestia could be considered a tyrant for the trolling she did in some episodes... or maybe because she traps her sister on the moon for 1000 years and makes HER apologize. but other than that, she's a good ruler.
