Blah Blah Blah
Mainstream, Underground, theres good and bad in all of it
2pac was a great Mainstream Artist, BomShot is a horrible underground artist, being one or the other doesnt make you any more or less an artist
In closing, Shut the fuck up

and by the way, music has almost always been pimped out. any artist that was able to build a career on the advance money they got from a label counts for that. thats most people in the game. not too many people furthered their own careers with their own work and their own money. Tool did it the entire time, by owning their own rights and distribution, Wu tang was independent from the start. A bunch of others have done it, but most of these clowns in any genre take handouts. its gay.

get off the bullshit, bulshitters. underground hip hop IS more respectable, as is underground anything. There are absolutes that will remain regardless of this overplayed garbage about "not hating" on shit. some shit should be hated on, when its actually whack to anyone who is living in the upper atmosphere of artistic appreciation. poison can be fun to ingest, but that doesn't change the fact that it's poison. those living in that upper atmosphere will understand what i mean.

@Khrene That's not a good example, music today is whored out, rappers, singers, etc are offered huge sums of money to sign to a label, but once that happens they are restricted to what they can rap or sing about, if these performers were really in it for what they sing about, they would never sell out, and thats exactly why the underground scene is so respectable, I mean these cats are known and aren't even getting radio play, that's how it should be

@Nautical1994 Your saying that just because an artist is popular means they sold their souls to the satan and that "The music is still good, just not as respectable"
As much as I think that many labels today are whoring out shitty artist with shitty songs for cash, I don't think popular = souless/unrespectable
I mean look at respectable popular artist Tupac, Ludacris, Alicia Keys, and maybe BoB. (thats a BIG maybe)
Either way you show serious signs of hipster,
Under 1,500 views, just how I like it.
