When the flighting of Dave Randall's message in support of www.southafricanartistsagainstapartheid.com began flighting, it was reported that 5fm fielded an inundation of calls, facebook messages and tweets. Despite threats of complaints with the Advertising Standards Authority, the national broadcaster continued to flight the message in line with basic principles of advertising standards and freedom of expression. The complaints, with unfounded allegations of anti-semitism, are insulting and have no reasonable basis - we look forward to the continued support of those who have been spreading Dave Randall's message!

NOTE: This week the message by Dave Randall on 5fm came to an end, however, the campaign continues. If you would like an audio copy the radio message that was flighted kindly be in touch with us - we would happily pass it on for others to broadcast.
