  • i think my rib or ribs are broken on my left side its dented inside an i been like this since november an i cant really put to much pressure on it an ima boxer

  • @skylilly1 get a new doctor

  • @skylilly1 sucks doesn't it? My thoracic surgeon is planning to operate , I go tomorrow for a second opion as required by the insurance company. The surgeon wants to shave calcium deposits and line the ribs back up and then put rods in them to keep them in place. He claims they will eventually stop hurting. I will have to change jobs but I really have no other option.

  • @highwayhokie I broke 2 ribs 5 years ago and I am in misery..my docter keeps saying " your ribs are healed" It hurts to breathe in and out, I can't sit back or lay on my left side. The pain radiates all around where the breaks were. It allmost feels like I have a piece of bone hitting a nerve or something..I'm in total mesery....

  • i broke 5 ribs 22 months ago. 2 have healed , 3 are still "non union". I had pain block injections today but I am very discouraged. Does anybody have have a happy ending to ribs that won't heal after 2 years? I am really begining to think I will be in pain forever.

  • @lumeaeamea1 How did it turn out?

  • @lumeaeamea1 no, don't wrap them, it is now appreciated that this is bad practice because it prevents you breathing deeply, which stops the lungs clearing fluids, and this is really bad.

  • Video told me NOTHING

  • Im a boxer, and i got a broken rib i guess, i'have been to my GP. but they have told me to rest, i rest for 1&half months, i got back to sparing and ones i got hit... same thing again,, maybe worser. Then again 2 months rest... and again the same,, every time i get hit with a shot in that place, its the same.

I never wrapt my ribs whid elastic wraps, witch i should have done. Now im realy desperate,, and i dont know what 2 do, im just wasting time, witch is bad for my career.I need a advice pls
