( NaNoWriMo 2009 ) Day 20.

So, I have victory in the shape of 50K+, but it was a bad day, in my mind :| I hate what I wrote, I didn't make any real progress, and I dragged myself through. BLAH. Not good. But yay for victory in NaNo 2009? :D?

"Are Sofia and Felipe okay?" Elsabeth's voice was quiet, wrung through heavily with concern and as he looked at her he saw the slightest shine of fresh tears in her eyes. She blinked briskly and they were gone again.

"They were when I last saw them," he told her, nodding his head. "Felipe was unconscious but Sofia was certain he would be all right." He knew that there was no guarantee they would still be in the same state now as they had been before the vampires had dragged him out of the cell. Not knowing was the worst part about everything that was going on. The pack, his parents, Sofia and Felipe.

"The vampires will hurt them."

It went without saying, but Cole nodded at Elsabeth's statement all the same, agreeing with it despite wishing otherwise. He sighed heavily, rubbing at his face once again. "We have to get out of here before that happens."

Just grabbed a chunk and went with it; I'm sitting here trying to eat my dinner hence the spontaneity. I will see you all tomorrow on Day 21. Oh, November, where have you gone? :|

:D Thank you so much, hon! I wish I could have been more enthusiastic about my crossing the 50K line, basically; that's all. It would have been nice to have had a good, meaty flow going when that time came, but honestly I AM happy that I hit the 50K mark <3 I know I didn't seem like it, but I am. Deep down beneath the cynicism :D

Congrats! I remember finishing in Nov 2009 on the 27th. I was inspired and stayed up until 2:00 am finishing. Hope you do it again this upcoming November.
