Then treason apologists because to use Armitage's confession to lie to their followers and the unknowing that Armitage was "The Leak" instead of what is revealed through the Libby Trial; there were many leaks and signs of intent to dispense the info to Judith Miller (via Libby) Matt Cooper (via Libby Rove) Robert Novak (Rove and Armitage) John Dickerson (Ari Fleischer), David Gregory (Ari Fleischer), Walter Pincus (Ari Fleischer), and Bob Woodward (Richard Armitage).

Clearly emanating from the Vice President's office, Armitage wasn't a lone whisperer, he was one of many who intentionally leaked the identity of a NOC to seek revenge on her husband. This action resulted in the destruction of her cover, and the destruction of the group she was responsible for. Her job was to keep an eye on nuclear materials flowing in and out of Iran.
