After losing my son to a UCA I decided to inform as many people as possible. Please, if you have any loved ones expecting pass this to them so that hopefully my past will not be their future. God Bless!!!
I lost my second son in a cord accident. I was shocked, we were all shocked. No one had ever talked to me about the possibility of this happening. I am grateful for all the parents getting the word out to protect other parents and their babies. When I asked my doctor why she didn't talk to me about the possibility she said, "It never happens". Well, it happened to me! And it broke my heart.
We lost our beloved baby boy last week due to cord accident. The cord was so tight around his neck. It such a pain for life. My wife was 37 weeks pregnant. It's such a rare thing that's what the doctor said. God, please don't do this to any other couple.
Thank you for sharing your video and information with us. I am sorry to hear about your loss and the same for others who have gone through this path as well. I can relate to this happened to my baby daughter. A couple of months ago on Friday, July 9th I learned that the Angels took her. I still can't believe it happened to me because I have older kids who were all born healthy and all. The umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck twice. I wish there was something that I could do to save her.
I was 40 weeks and 6 days when I found out my daugter died. She was born the next day with the cord wrapped four times around her neck. That was the 27 Jan 2010. I had no idea she was gone. She was my fourth, all my other pregnancies were fine so I never thought anything would go wrong. We were so excited to be having her and it hurts so much.
Thanks for passing this message. My son was born still 08/25/2000 due to a knotted umbilical cord 3 weeks before his due date. I had been assigned fetal kick counts by my doctor and kept for getting to turn them in! He told me well, keep doing them, and bring it to me next week. I forgot to bring the numbers again. On the 3rd week I thought "Eh, screw it, I'm not doing them anymore." and he died that week. I have so much guilt over that. Please, everyone, do kick counts EVERY DAY.
