The government runs things poorly or haven't you been paying attention. Socialized Government programs and goverments ALWAYS fail.....ALWAYS have. Obama's power is almost over...he has personally endorsed 4 candidates recently and all 4 lost. A republican even won in his home district in Hawaii. This President's move towards Socialism is over. You're on the wrong side of history. You'll have to find a free lunch some other way.

The people in power now are trying to change America into a socialist nation and they can't do that without changing the Constistution...which will destroy the individualism that this nation is founded on. Now, be an invincible 27 year old ("no insurance needed") and get paralyzed in a fall in your home. Nobody else liable? Who pays for your care - SOCIALIZED MEDICINE i.e. the taxpayer. i.e. You freeload on us! This mandate mandates personal responsibility. An absolute no-brainer!

@NakedLadyMudFlap We are the least "socialist" developed country in the world. We are the only one without universal health care. If needed, career politicians should be VOTED out. Good ones that are not corrupt should be reelected. Believe me I love this country more than you could ever understand. Agreed re: parties. Perhaps a parliamentary system would be more representative. Fact is this is an America Divided, and as such, in real deep trouble.

Wake up...the Democratic Party has been taken over by Socialists. If you want the Democratic Party back then you need to see things for what they are and Love your country more than you Live a Political Party. The truth is that neither party is responsive to the will of the people and we need to come together and rid ourselves of career politicians....and people that don't respect the Constitution.
