i rememebr me and my cousin were playing the game together and i had just beat riku. and we were all hyped and laughing and stuff and when sora stabbed himself the room fell silent.

Sora had two hearts. One heart for Sora and the other heart for Ventus. My theory is that Ventus' heart was released instead of Sora's thus creating Roxas.

Sora returned back to normal from being a Heartless because he still had a heart.
