just for the record...the Brammo Empluse versions 8.0 and 10.0 BLOWS THIS POS VETRIX out of the water in max speed, and ESPECIALLY total miles per charge. yeah..11 and 14 gand.butSTILL a better buy than the outdated Vetrix v1. COMON Vetrix GET ON THE BALL if you're going to compete!
Aint it bloody typical, somebody comes up with a way to save a small fortune at the gas pump, and what happens ?. They charge you a HUGE one to get it in the first place.
Come on people, do the maths, 500 @ $2000 gts you a lot more income than 20 @ $4000. The cheaper an item is the more people will be able to buy it. Or is it, as I suspect that the rich can't bear to see the poor doing anything that they haven't done first, let alone actually enjoying themselves doing it.
I would say it depends on where you live. If your inner-city, then yes. But if you live where everything is spaced out and connected via motorway or dual carrage, then you would be doing 60mph min. Then I would imagine range would drop-off. it is a grat machine, but im waiting for better batteries or more recharge points.
brilliant vid, and amazing steps for electric transport.
Electric used to be associated being very experimental and ineffective, now thanks to better design and improved performance it is associated with being a serious toy for those with desposable cash or limited travel needs.
I say that because its still got a way to go? I mean - 60mls@25mph and 63mph top speed for a brief stint and a 11K-US and 6K-UK price tag.
