Ahh, Fire Emblem. I haven't played many of their games (Only this and Shadow Dragon, actually. FE7 I kind of stopped halfway through, no idea why, but I liked it too), but there's no doubt they are good games. Fire Emblem 8 was my first, so it has a special place in my heart.
But what happens when I hear for the umpteenth time how FE8 is too easy and an awful game?
I decide to make it challenging for myself.
Of course, it's too early in the game for the Challenge Run to start, but the basic rule is:
Characters cannot promote.
The exception to this rule is Trainees, who CAN promote, but only once. At this point, they cannot promote again.
I wonder how this run will go. If I feel like it, I might upload more videos. Or even actually start a proper playthrough. Who knows?
No Promotion Challange. Eh, I've done that a dozen times (literally) before. It's not hard.
Here's a harder challange:
-No Promotion
-No Arena (only pre-promoted characters is allowed to, but they must only do it to gain money and must be benched otherwise)
-No pre-promoted characters, expect for Arena
-Play on Hard Mode
-No Trainees, 'cept for Supports.
Anyway, nice job!
As for me, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones was the first one I passed as well, making it my all time favorite. XD Hm..

@Kainmaster Aww, and I thought I was being creative. Oh well.
Actually, my challenge isn't too far off from what you listed. I haven't touched the arena, and I'm not using any prepromotes. (Although Seth is your only one at this point and it'd be unwise to use him regardless.) Only difference, as I'm sure you figured out, is that I am using trainees, and I'm too much of a wimp to play on Hard Mode.
We'll just see how it goes if I feel like recording more. *shrug*
