In my mother language, Afrikaans (South Africa), we have a word for down syndrome people: "Hemelkinders". Directly translated it means "Children of Heaven"... This sums up in words what I think Sigur Ros displays (for me).

@radicalgarbage02 this video has special significance for societies such Iceland. If you went there you would be surprised at the rarity of people with problems such as Down Syndrome, because a large number of people choose to terminate pregnancies where genetic abnormailities have been detected. This video seeks to celebrate these differences, to show that these ARE PEOPLE and are capable of artistic endeavour, valid human beings with a right to life.
