awesum! used to live in the willcox/bonita area back in 60's-late 70's! Been on all those mountains in the area. Mt. Graham, Chiricahuas, winchester, gailurero, dos cabesas, cochise stronghole,,,AWESUM!! fires are part of nature..Mountains will bring back the forest for our grand kids and great grand kids and beyond...

I grew up in Safford, next to Mt. Graham. It was a beautiful place to go in the summer to escape the heat and in the winter to play in the snow. I've noticed recently that there are thousands of trees that are dead or dying, mostly due to the "bark beetle" and various mountain fires. It's sad....

Very true! I think the whole side of the mountain facing Safford is completely bare due to fires!
