(I do not own the rights to this video. It is a segment of the Discovery Channel program "Oddities": http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/oddities/)

That said, here is Genesis P-Orridge selling two kanglings, a Tibetan trumpet made out of the hallowed-out thigh bone of a murderer or a virgin, to Obscura Antiques and Oddities for a charity in memory of the late Lady Jaye.

  • i hate how shows like this go for the obvious jokes at the eccentric's expense to make it more palatable for the 'everyman', but this is still kind of cool.

  • @rynwnn Agreed. The show itself isn't that great and my friend pointed out it seems like little more than producers doing a casting call for "weirdos". The staged nature of the two store owner's delivery when they talk really distract me, but Genesis P-Orridge's cameo is still very funny if slightly awkward.

  • Am I the only one here who noticed her face after she finally played the trumpet? It was like she was exhausted, but with a "think you can do better?" look. LOL.

  • sucks to see that Gen has to sell any of his stuff

  • @blumrich1970 LOL shut up.

  • LOL fat.

  • @5HREDD3R that freak is the inventor of industrial music. He was the vocalsit of the mytical band Throbbing Gristle. And and were the lider of a occult underground movement in england.

  • @rynwnn most things in this show are completlu staged. like ryan's "romantic date"

  • @Seantendo It was used on Themes I (later reissued as Cold Dark Matter) on the second track (no name, it's just called "Part 2"). I was thinking it may have also been used on Dreams Less Sweet, but I can't read the notes on the CD - the notes are too small!

  • that's a guy you people

  • Awkward freak. lolz

  • @rynwnn I wonder if Gen knew it would be one of these types of shows and acted up for it. I'd love to see some suburbanite looking up this old kook and finding hamburger lady or slug bait
