Idaho Reports Web Extra: Sen. Risch criticizes the federal stimulus package (2/18/2009)

U.S. Sen. Jim Risch dropped by the Idaho House and Senate on Wednesday (2-18-09). Risch criticized the $787 billion federal stimulus package, warning lawmakers the massive bill constitutes fraud and does not specify when or how much money is coming to Idaho. He also said the bill focused on too many earmarks. Echoing Sen. Crapo's sentiments from the day before, Risch said the package didn't do enough to fix the housing and credit crisis.
