All respect to the interviewer, but he really doesn't have to laugh at everything Robert Webb says, just because he's a comedian.

@stickystuff32 well in some ways comedy was always contrived. a comic wouldnt do standup if they didnt think they could make some laughs. so they made a set which they thought would fit. but as for corrupt commercially labelled comedy:it isnt corrupt, its just tailored comedy to fit what the producers want. i dont think comedy has morphed, i think comedy stays the same as a whole, but what gets aired is different.
