Are directors accounts limited to 10 minutes now?

I miss YouTube in 2006 where you can upload videos longer than 10 minutes. ;(

I agree. Sometimes I want to upload a 20 min mix session, but I can't because I can't go above 11 min. It really sucks! :(

I have a director's account and I am still able to upload as far as I know over 10 minutes. last time I uploaded over 10 minutes was july 5th 2009. the video was 14 minutes and 53 seconds.

That email and the changes in the help section answers your question. While multi ple parts are a PIA all the way around, if the opening 1 is compelling most will make the effort to view the remaining parts. Multiple parts or use another video hosting service, until google buys that 1 as well. Stating the obvious some1 has to pay for free. We can expect something to be cut or required to pay for what we where getting for free. :(

i think you can upload more than 10mins if your a business that specializes in archive interviews or web shows (30mins), but then again why would one use youtube for archive video service?

OMG! this is totally uncool! I made an awesome video but its 17 minutes long and I worked so long and now it was all a waste!!!! AHAHHAHAHAH!!!

the reason they put it to ten mins, is because people don't really even watch ten min video. you will be lucky if they watched 6 mins
Just as an update, I can see a few director accounts that were able to post longer than 10 min. I'm curious to see what happens with a brand new director's account.
