Sacramento County is getting ready to recommend to the Board of Supervisors the cutting of 9.2 million dollars from the Mental Health budget. This will essentially cut all outpatient services in Sacramento County. They plan on trying to provide these services within the County which is a more costly alternative. This while they plan on 5.4 million dollars in pay increases, retirement contributions and benefit increases to there staff. Sacramento County is more concerned with saving their jobs instead of providing the most vulnerable people of our community quality services. Please help us in fighting this proposal.
