  • Hey, cool vid and your variable power supply looks awesome. But what i wanted to ask was what was the name of that computer program you used to design the schematic. Thanks in advance.

  • @Mr5dyce I did not design the schematic, i just edited it using the erase and pencil tool with Microsift paint. But i do have a schematic making program that i downloaded for free called expressPCB (it came with a schematic builder and a pcb maker)

  • far above my meager ability but somehow I enjoyed watching this

and i did press the LIKE thumb, thats something sooooooooooooooooooo many fail to do!

  • @leokimvideo Thanks!

  • Great vid

  • Best tutorial for a Vvr I've seen. Great vid!

  • i replicated this, my input voltage is 33v at 500milliamps (old HP adapter). For some reason, my output only adjusts from 1.25v up to 12v maxed out with a 5k pot, should i go up to a 10k or higher, or is something else causing the bottleneck? I get a little more is i lower the 1k resistor to a 220 ohm (the one between the Vout and adjust). I did not include the 2nd 1k resistor on the pot itself, not sure how to wire it. I just send the adjust to right leg of pot and middle leg (wiper) to ground

  • @mcrobocreations Energy cannot be created nor can it be destroyed...

  • to get more accuracy you should use a multi turn pot

  • thx just what i need to finish my self power electrical generator..it makes 33 volts and runs off 1.5 volt motor just need to regulate the 1.5 to make run to have 30 volts free power..can relate not fun haveing film w/ one hand and work and explain w/ rest of body is it..harder than making the product sometimes

    most excellent thx again...
