@ontarioguy56e Nonsense, Chamberlain's peace deal with Hitler at the Munich Conference in 1938 actually helped Britain by giving them an additional 11 months to re-arm so the delay was more beneficial to Britain than it was to Germany.

@scones55555 Uh no, Britain was already safe from invasion when Pearl Harbor took place. There was really only a very short period of time during which England was vulnerable to invasion by the Germans (June-October 1940)

I want to see Obama win but I believe that what McCain said in both cases about WW2 and Vietnam are true. We had the same problems here in Australia during the Vietnam war and we never lost a battle either (look up the battle of Long Tan). I've had the WW2 argument with others before, if all the powers of the world jumped on the Nazis in the first place instead of the USSR and US only helping when they felt like it, they could have been stopped much faster.
