San eduardo - Geophysical Prospecting

Mr. Badillo of prefored (he is the one in white shirt, I'm holding the camera) giving us a brief explanation about in what consist the Geophysical Prospecting, he is explaining how and where to hammer in the ground the stakes.

He is using the Direct Current method, the purpose of the method is the determination of the subsurface resistivity contribution, by conducting measurements at the surface of the earth, the resistivity depends on hydrological-hydrogeological conditions, the chemical composition of the water, the dissolved ions in it, the porosity of the formation, the possible fractures, the temperature and pressure and the topography.
He will introduce all the data that he had collected in his computer and them the computer will generate a model of how the ground is formed and what is under the ground.
