FSX on cheap gaming computer 2

Anyone can make FSX run good, just give them about
$5,000 to buy a top of the line computer.

My purpose/challenge, was to take mainstream
components and build a computer that anyone could use
to enjoy FSX

I think I've accomplished most of my goals with this
system, on a budget of about $700 U.S.

Specs:

Intel Core i5-650 CPU @ 4.4 ghz (stock 3.2)
Biostar TH55XE H55 motherboard
4 GB 1333 DDR3 Ram
1 GB Nvidia GT240 graphics
1 TB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM HD
Coolmax 500w Modular power supply
Coolermaster Elite 360 HTPC case
COolIT ALC ECO water cooler

I've also tweaked the FSX.CFG file to remove the
standard bugs:

UsePools=0

[JobScheduler]
AffinityMask=255

With the AffinityMask tweak, I've noticed that you
can get FSX to use the Hyper-Threading features of
Intel's CPUs. +++

[Graphics]
HighMemFix=1

Not many addons, but UTX, GEX, and REX are installed
External camera used to record off my Samsung 40"
1080p LCD tv. Camera used is Canon Powershot SD1400
IS HD video mode. There are better HD cameras, but I
got this camera mainly for photo shooting, not video

I have 8 gigs of ram and a GTX550 ti and a i5 and i cant come anywhere near this HOW DO YOU GET SUCH GOOD FRAMS and how do you get good graphics on a cheap card?

@Armydude771 FSX rarely uses more than 1-2 gigs of ram. Its a matter of certain settings that really kill fsx performance, you need to be sure and turn those off...people have done all the research for you already just look at the forums. Good luck.

cpu is Phenom2 3ghz QuadCore, 4gb ram, Windows 7 x64 etc.

Probably some settings in your FSX that are screwing up your performance. I also have scenery add-ons which make it look better.

Why do you have affinity mask at 255 i thought that 4 core cpu it should be 15 ?
