@postcardsfromhellMWD Its sad that you think you know cinema. The hallmarks of Smith's career are Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Dogma. All of which received critical praise. The only one of those movies that turned into a pseudo-romance was Chasing Amy, which was the point of the film. I'm only upset because little fartknockers like you actually believe for a second that they have a clue about what makes a good film. But yes, Red State did suck.

@fatfacerick Roger Ebert is a man with an EDUCATED opinion. He knows the industry, the craft, and overall has much better insight on film. So yes, his opinion is worth FAR more than you're piddly ass opinion. Anyone with an EDUCATED opinion can see that Chasing Amy was a pretty good movie. Of course, keyboard warriors like you think that you know film, so go ahead and bash all of the great movies you want. But over 90% of people with educated opinion on film disagree.
