this is for the peeps at www.ukuleleunderground.com/forum

fred, the slide was my own personal touch that i added, but thought sounded cool when played on strings.

edit: so i checked out some of the other ukulele versions out there and noted that some people actually had to comment on how it wasnt played correctly. so... for you purists out there, FYI i can play this entire song on the piano. so i know this is not note for note the correct way to play it. BUT, its an ukulele! i have 4 strings. and its tuned re-entrant. so really, i have three strings. the range is just not there. so this is MY "rendition" of the most played out classical piano song in history. hahaha.

ukulele: lanikai spruce top tenor
strings: d'addario j71

  • I like the slide addition to this. It's a nice new twist to an old song. Good rendition. :)

  • @nukedoc619 Actually, practising is spelled with an 's', Practice with a 'c' is the form of practice as in a medical practice. Sorry, I'm really big on grammar :L. About the song, I must admit it wasn't the best rendition I ever heard but it was pretty damn awesome :) I really liked the way you played it-it suited the ukulele. 5 star :)
