Yeah I remember Frank Miller's answer to some people who thought a Spirit movie was a bad idea, "If I didn't do it, someone else would have, and they would have done a far worse job than I did"

That's a great justification Frank.

what blows my mind is that it SO easily could have been a good movie. i really wish brad bird wouldve made his animated version. i've toyed with the idea of making a fan film just because i want to see it done right . it boggles my mind that even with a multimillion dollar budget, hollywood still fucked it up somehow
