While searching for his name in Google, Jean-Claude Goldbrenner came across a photo of himself as a child on the Remember Me? Web site. Launched by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in March 2011, this project seeks to identify photographs of 1,100 children who were orphaned or separated from their families during the Holocaust and World War II.
Goldbrenner is one of 103 children who have been identified to date through this project. In this video, Goldbrenner describes what happened to his parents during the war and shares some of the photographs and letters that provide glimpses of what they experienced.

Having run across some Holocaust deniers on-line today, then want to say that the work you are doing is sooo important. It pains me that people would deny the evil that happened. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing this video. Not only will I remember, but as a teacher, I will teach my students to do the same. God bless.
