  • Those who can - Do.

Those who can't, pretend to be experts and spend their time trying to insult those who can....It's so sad.

  • I post these for my friends (vs. making DVD copies of my flights)....I had to turn off the comment section on my C-130 Video after 700,000 views....too many goofy remarks.

I enjoy criticism for that is how most of us learn in the hobby. I always anticipate the "arm chair" flyer response (in the r/c club as well as in here)....an opinion that usually is just that.

Keep on building, keep on flying!!

    Having Fun!

  • 4 years to build that?! dude that really sucks! im so sorry you lost such an amazing plane.

  • It's repairable (thank god)....a little glue, touch up paint, TLC....we'll have her back up in no time.

  • Great looking plane. Sorry for the loss. Love the sound of that motor !! The airplane looked a little tail heavy, but still flyable. On the maiden flights of any of my scale planes, I always balance it forward of the recommended range and on my scratch build it's about 25% of the wing cord at the root. I will fine tune the CG after the maiden flight. No maiden flight crashes in 30 years due to CG problems. I know it's tough, but I hope to see it fly again.

The irony is, this plane was designed to fight against the very action you have taken in disabling comments on your other videos. Just because you don't like what someone says doesn't make it ok to silence them. Deny it all you want but silencing "goofy remarks" is still Fascism no matter how you look at it.

Truth will always stand up to scrutiny and intellectual views are not effected by insults and trash talk.

  • Damn thats a real shame. Practice side slip for quick approach to dead stick land. What a way for a great plane to end. Easy on the elev on take off mate. Looks like you flying tail heavy and on high rates. Better luck next time.

  • Ha Ha learn to fly

  • Does not look too too bad!! It looked absolutely beautiful from 2:20 to the 3 min mark. It also seemed to handle very well at low speed just before it landed, so there is a lot to be happy about. It didn't tip stall and spin straight down at least!! Nice save at the end. Congratulations on a beautiful plane. I'm sure it will fly again!

  • LOL!!! Old fart on the controls. No sympathy here. I was at a flying field and almost killed by an old man that lost control of his airplane when his hands started shaking.

  • @stompmaster My thoughts exactly, he had plenty of opportunity to turn.

It was clear from the outset both that the pilot lacked confidence, and that his colleagues had little confidence in him.

  • Had plenty of time to turn that bird upwind to make a nice save. Instead, drops her in fast downwind and blows past the runway. PANIC!!!

  • Turns out it didn't have enough power...

  • @rdavit Two-years later is still a pile of trash, sir.

  • i like the damage control! you saved that thing from needing a motor
