Chuck Smith didn't baptize me. I did come to Christ through a Calvary Chapel pastor though and that same pastor baptized me later on.

I finally got right with the Lord in '73, having been part of the Woodstock culture, which was trying to be Christian without Christ. Now, 36 years later I am a bi-vocational pastor who walks with Jesus on the two legs of faith--trust and obey. Its well worth it. Love Song inspired me to "press on," as I played gospel rock then and it was an honest expression of reaching out in His name. hf

I am one of those Jesus Freaks. 40 years ago Chuck Smith baptized me in the pacific ocean. I was a messed up kid who heard there was some rock n roll playing in a big tent. It turned out to be Calvary. Its pretty cool to see those people again after so long and so many miles away. Peace!
