6-29-2009 Shawnee County Outdoor Warning Siren Test

Today was an odd day. 12:05 comes around and the sirens have not gone off. Shortly after I start hearing these beeps like siren activation signals, but idk. Around 12:10 shortly after I shut my camera off the sirens start up! I quickly start recording again, right before the sirens wind down you can hear one of those beeps. And...only the Tbolt, Model 5 and Tbeam wound down, the 2001s stayed on for some reason...

The 2001 may have stayed on longer because of a delay in the deactivation signal or it's timer is set for a pre programed shut down i have noticed this on some of our 2001s during a few Tornado Warnings and Monthy tests here in Minneapolis MN
