Gulen Charter Schools FBI Turkish Translator

Sibel Edmonds, famous Whistleblower from 2008-9, worked as a Turkish translator and later FBI Whistleblower implicating Democrats AND Republicans in a searing scandal. She speaks about "Gulen," a wanted (by Turkey) Islamic radical with major terrorist ties whose Islamic Charter schools act as a moderate front here in the USA.

What's funny is that if anyone actually studied Fetullah Gulen and read not only his writings but also those of his mentor, Said Nursi, they would find NOTHING militant about those teachings. If his goal was to spread militant Islam, you would find clues to that in the teachings of Gulen's teacher and mentor (Said Nursi). If anything, their schools spread a very de-radicalized version of Islam and are exactly what is needed in the Islamic world.

@wigon Did you know that Fethullah Gulen is Half Kurdish and Half Armenian? He is not even Turkish. He is not even a real Muslim all his teachings and behaviors goes against the teachings of Mohammad. because precutors understood that he is innocent and there is no evidence against him. why he went to us is because he is so sensitive when it comes to his country. and you said behaviors speak louder than words. so why don't you come close to this movement. there are lots of institutions and schools in US. there are many american, english, french, german scholars that they are trying to understand his efforts and his movement. just talk to them and followers of him. even you can visit him

@ohohmrbill1 Finally, if the Gulen organization wanted to convert American kids to Islam, it would make more sense for them to set up PRIVATE SCHOOLS in poor neighborhoods (with Gulen funded scholariships) where it would be perfectly legal for them to teach Gulen's interpretation of Islam (or any interpretation of Islam).

@ohohmrbill1 Furthermore the schools in Central Asia that are affiliated with Gulen and that DO teach Islam do so because they are in MUSLIM COUNTRIES. As such, they help to provide a buffer against Saudi Salafist influences such as the extreme Salfist influences that you see in countries like Nigeria, Somalia, parts of the Phillipines, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc...

@ohohmrbill1 Militant/extremist Muslims make that claim about almost all Sufis, not just Gulen. But thanks for championing their propaganda that Sufis are not real Muslims. I'm sure centuries of Sufis going back to the scholar Al-Ghazali. I am sure that the almost thousand years of Tasawuuf (Sufism) within Islamic history would agree with you and the terrorists. Charter schools in America founded by Gulen members DO NOT TEACH ISLAM period.
