After a brief introduction, Deborah leads the Beginner through the breath focusing technique, often called by the Buddhists - Vipassana. Afterward you will be guided in a re-integration technique that allows your nervous system to carry the benefits into your waking day.
This relaxation/ meditation is best suited to the Beginner as you learn to do the focusing that is the known meditation technique to MOST release stress from the human nervous system, help to learn inner centering - which contributes to quality of life on many levels.
The five minute Beginner's Meditation is suited to the first weeks one is learning to formally meditate as well as for those who need a boost during the day. It is NOT suitable for use while driving.
Although there are many relaxing experiences labeled meditation, this is a formal full breath experience. Although you may use other techniques, this full breath practice will, if used daily, can help your nervous system to learn to quiet itself and maintain that balance which is useful to many other techniques and practices. Breath relaxation/meditation is taught privately and in major medical facilities for stress reduction, quality of life enhancement, pain management, support during times of grief, and for major health challenges including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Breath relaxation/meditation is easy to learn; most people find it has profound benefits when used daily along with other Integrative Health, psychological and spiritual practices.

The more that you practice - starting out with five minutes and eventually lengthening the time once or twice a day at set times - the more your nervous system will learn to relax and stay centered. Then - when ever one is having anxiety - just starting the following of the breath - and inviting it to be deeper - in the moment of the situation - your nervous system will start to respond with calmness - centeredness

Our Breath - long neglected in Western Medicine and the practice of Western religions - connects us with our own direct contact with SELF - with Divine - and through that with all of Sentient Beings and Creation - - - as you continue you have real healing into wholeness - regular, twice daily breath meditation heals the nervous system from the traumas of conception forward

The Breath is our natural, free gift - with it we release stress, center into the calmness that is our right from Conception - but which most of us search outside for.
