I think what we could see through this story was not that Reva didn't love Josh but that she knew that, in the end, she and Billy were more alike and she could count on him - he'd screwed up plenty in his life as she had and he was more able to forgive and support her than Josh was ... even though Josh messed up plenty, he still was judgmental towards Reva - even here.
-
Josh was hurt and betrayed with Reva's lies yet again. She did one of the cruelest things possible...keeping her disease from her husband. I can totally understand why Josh would feel betrayed and hurt after Reva promised at their lighthouse reunion that she would be honest and share things with him.

Josh was rebounding to Cassie. He's always wanted to be with Reva. But once again, Reva's classic lies, for whatever the reason, pushed Josh away and this time, he didn't come back. Reva was being totally selfish not telling her husband about the illness.
-
I can understand Josh's initial reaction. He felt betrayed by Reva and Billy. But once he calmed down, the real and old Josh would have understood and stayed with Reva and dumped Cassie in a heartbeat. The real Josh would never, ever, had become involved with his wife's sister.
I keep watching this story line hoping for a differnt reaction from Josh. Those writters could have done so much with this story, instead we get The crash story,a GREAT BIG BORING STORY.GIVE US A REVA STORY.
