Man, when Batman is gonna get the dark and mature series he deserves. You guys don't know how much I will like to see a dark, graphically murderous and maturely evil Joker and Two-Face. This series will childlish and retarded.

I hate that they take alot of show we watched when we were young and turn them into Crap Kiddy looking shows like Batman, Transformers, and Spider-man the new series looks so stupid I watched 1 episode of each of those shows and all I have to ask is WHY!!!

Look like a fun diversion, but I don't think I'll be watching it much, I can barely stand Batman in JLA let alone this Neo-40s/secret saturdays look.

a Dark Batman sucks!!!!! love the super freinds Denny O'Neal Batman any day of the week! This show looks great. what time on Friday nights will it be on?

The Dick Sprang art from the 40s and continued up until the "New Look" Batman of the 60s. The Brave and the Bold comic started in 1955 and started the idea of team-ups in the 60s with Flash and the Martian Manhunter in issue #50. The popularity of the Batman TV show in the 60s prompted Batman to be the main star of B&B for over a 100 issues til the book's cancellation on issue #200.
I should know. I have most of the books. Just need a few from the first 20 issues.

I hope you mean when the style was first introduced, and not that Batman was created in the 60's.

Hey, i didn´t had so much faith that this would look any good, but hey, actually it looks great.
Of course, nothing will reach the level of greatness of the "Batman Animated Series". I despise "The Batman" due to its ignorant storylines and "Street Fighter" rip off designs. But this one looks adventurous and fun.

well, there is hope with the DC Universe direct to DVD series. Though Batman: Gotham Knight may be the only Batman focused release we'll get from that

You know I like t his animation a lot, it's got that Venture Brothers feel to its animation which I like since its not trying to do Anime, which to many new cartoons today try to do.
