Nick and Kevin's dad is getting married to an unknown woman called Susan who is coming to live with them with her daughter Nick got angry and stormed out.....

at the Blackwood household

Selena: Joseph get up already * goes into his room and throws a pillow at him* its half eight so come on get up
Joe: I'm up, I'm up *pulls the duvet over his head*
Selena: looks out his window OMG look Joe look Ashley is outside
Joe: Where! *jumps out of bed and goes to the window* Sel...nobodies there...
Selena: I know but your up
(A/N in this story Joe has always had a crush on Ashley even though her and Kevin are older, Joe and Selena are twins)
this launches the Blackwood twins into a wrestling/tickling match
Blackwood mum: What are you two still doing here its past nine
Selena: C***
B/mum: Language Selena
Selena: sorry mum
Joe: *looks at watch* its now 9:18 come on

AT SCHOOL

Joe and Selena come running in bags and hair flying they skid down the hall

(A/N in this story Selena, Joe, Nick and soon to be Demi are in yr 10 which makes them 16 and Kevin and Ashley are in yr 12 making them 18? ,Kevin is prefect {tardy officer, whatever you want to call it})

Principal *strolling the halls* :Joseph and Selena Blackwood what kind of time do you call this!
Joe: *looks at his watch* 9:49?
Principal: It was a rhetorical question Joseph...
Joe: right *nudges selena and whispers* what's a-
Selena:*cuts him off* I'll explain later
Kevin enters carrying books and going to his locker
Principal: ahh, Mr. Austin can you give these two a detention slip and explain what a rhetorical questions is to Mr. Blackwood here
principal walks off
Kevin: *raises an eyebrow* late again, this is becoming quite a habit for you Joseph, at least your sister manages her alarm clock appropriately
Selena: *leans over and looks at his tardy clipboard* well i don't see your brother on there, and oh he isn't on the roll call list either so maybe you should manage your brothers alarm clock before coming down on my bro about his
Ashley comes in, walking to her locker (she has free period as well as Kevin)
(in this Sel and Ashley are already friends, and Kevin as well as Joe has a crush on Ashley)
Ashley: *walks up to them noticing Selena* Hey Sell
Selena: Hey Ash
Joe *dreamily* hi Ashley...
Ashley: Hey Joe
Kevin: Ashley *nods his head*
Ashley: *smiles* hello Kevin, were you guys late
Selena: Yeah, were getting a detention
Ashley: oh that sucks
Kevin: *staring at Ashley* maybe I could let you off with a warning just this once...
Ashley: oh! Thanks Kevin your the best! *smiles*
Kevin blushes

AFTER SCHOOL
Joe stayed back to talk to the principal about other detentions he owes, sel is walking home

Sel: is walking along a dusty back-road sees something in a ditch, goes over to inspect* OMG
